Terrestrial Orchid Breeding???

I have started on a collection of Cyps for breeding!! I have now
Cyp. acaule
Cyp. calceolous
Cyp.parviflorum var. pubescens
Cyp. montanum

I have pollen from Cyp. acaule alba ( thank You Lise-- Erythrone here on forum)

I also have Cyp. henryi pollen

Calypso bulbosa
Pleione formosana

I just received some Cyp. seed!! Thank You Dido!!!!!! I want to start them naturally. How does one make sure you get the right fungus for them to germinate???????

Try it at the moment with different kinds who grow in my forest,
mybe next year I will see seedlings.:drool:

I just went & dug up some good compost soil. Hopefully it has good fungus for the seed germination. I will spread the seeds in 4 pots & put them in my Cyp. garden, hopefully I will have some sprout in the spring!!!!!!!!!
