Susan Booth & Kolosand -- WAIT A MINUTE!!!

This year's Memphis Orchid Society show was a lot of fun, despite the conspicuous absence of Sam Tsui! I managed to restrain myself for the most part, but I did splurge and buy two classic multifloral hybrids in bud -- Susan Booth and Kolosand -- from a very reputable and well known vendor.

First to open was Susan Booth...

Finally, Kolosand opened -- my first sanderianum hybrid!

Hey, just a dang minute!! Those two guys are identical!!

To my chagrin, apparently one of my plants was mislabelled (Kolosand, apparently). Oh well, we're all human and mistakes are sometimes unavoidable. I guess I'll just have to wait on my seedling Lawless Sanguard to experience some sanderianum influence...

I love 'em both; but, it sucks to get a mislabelled plant. If I were you though, I'd keep 'em both. They're that nice!

I spoke to Sam last week so I know he got back from Europe. I'd keep both too.
