This is the third time I have flowered this clone and the first time I have flowered it well. I am not really happy with the photo. It doesn't do the plant justice. It is a wonderful clone. The flowers are large and dark with good form and present beautifully on a towering spike. As the name suggests, this is a sibling of my Susan Booth 'Paracombe' that got an FCC award two years ago.
A lesson on staking. I clamped the top flower too tight reducing the sap/water flow as it was developing. This prevented the fourth flower opening fully
Sadly, the flowers started drooping a couple of days before our Spring show. It is significantly better than the St Swithin I posted the other day.
