I currently have some hybrids in flower:
Paph Rolleston "Easter", a division from Ratcliffes 2008 division list. The flower is a little different from what I expected, since other hybrids with sukhakulii as a direct parent have lots more little spots and often a lighter base colour. I like it, nevertheless, and the flower is open for at least 3 month now.
Another one from that list, Paph Sea Sunset "Lace Wings". A bit cupped, but the colour is a very lovely, delicate pastel pink.
Three standard complex hybrids from the breeding of Kurt Hennis, who had quite a reputation as a breeder in the high time of complex hybrids in Germany, and still continues to do crosses well in his 80ies. Some examples of his latest crosses:
Christa -Maria Hoffman
Tatjana Hoffmann #1. The flower was already fading when I bought it, but I liked that dramatic dorsal and the solid coloured pouch.
Tatjana Hoffmann #2. Was in bud and turned out nice.
enjoy!
