Second flowering of this one. Last year it wasn't so purple, I wonder what things influence the colouring? Anyway the instensity of the purple is much deeper than I could capture with this photo.........sometimes I can get it and sometimes I can't.

Is it fragrant?

No fragrance on this one, it's a mini and most of mine don't have a scent which is a bit disappointing.

Usually deeper colors result from lower temperatures and good light. How has your weather been?

Actually this summer has been very hot but also very sunny........more so than usual. The average night temps have also been higher than normal.

It's certainly had more light so that could definitely be a factor.

The flower today is even deeper purple and the shape has improved as well. I'm pretty happy with it, I just wish I had a show or meeting to take it to before it starts to fade......lol. Not that it would win any awards but I think it would do ok.
