As Selenipedium in situ picks are quite rare I would like to share something with you that I found.

I came across it on the website of Orchideeenkwekerij Petrens in Belgium.

The nursery itself looks like an interesting place. It actually looks like they have a very pretty "victorian" style greenhouse.
 
I didn't read through the pdf before I posted it. Now that I did I found out that I was a bit to eager with posting it.

In the article it is explained the the Selenipedium aequinoctiale is actually growing in one of the nurseries of Ecuagenera.

Still, the photos were neat. I'm amazed at how tall it is. I have rarely seen photos of the plant itself. Plus the photos of the "jungle" caught my attention and had my imagination working overtime. Just imagine what undiscovered orchid gems lurk in terrain like that!
