I think 7cm across is pretty good for the species. Anything larger than 8cm natural spread usually have poor shape with dumpo ear petals. I personally prefer brachys round. Rounder the cuter.
Niveum is cute when they are round and smallish. Again, I doubt this is that small for the species. ;)

Sounds like a perfect size. I love small, showy flowers like this. By extension, minicatts too. I sometimes think it is too easy to think bigger is better. Is it cupped much?
It’s slightly cupped. Pretty flat I would say for a niveum. I think the slight cuppiness contributes to the roundness

Agreed! This is why I’m not a huge fan of myanmaricum.
