If I look at this one as a Cattleya, I find its shape pretty disappointing. If I look at it as a Rhyncholaelia glauca hybrid, though, it looks like a nice, colorful, floofy glauca.

Scent isn't too strong except at the right time of day, but is very nice: tea roses and fresh linens, with some spice.

Nice - for a floofy flower! :p BTW how far from Chesapeake are you?

Depends on where. I'm pretty far from e.g. the western branch—but then the rest of Chesapeake is also pretty far from the western branch.

(That's a Hampton Roads joke. So if you don't live here, it's not funny. Also: if you do live here, it is still not funny.)

Srsly, tho: I'm near ODU, which is where I teach.
