I hate all these name changes. I have not made the changes in my inventory list but am considering adding a column to note them. I have this listed as a Blc. It is C. Chocolate Drop x Bl Richard Mueller

But Chocolate drop is C guttata x now Guarianthe aurantiaca instead of C aurantiaca and Bl Richard Mueller is now Brassosophronitis Richard Mueller instead of Bl.

Not happy with the form on the first flower but I am happy with the color.

Hey Ron,
Forget the name changes, as of March 2008 - it is all Cattleya. Got this from Eric Christiansen. Published in Neodiversity. Van den Berg published and by using 3 molecular data sets instead of one, he threw out all of the proposed changes from Chiron & Castro. Unfortunately, you will still have some confusion. Because THEY ARE ALL CATTLEYA NOW.

Enjoy the read and lets see if RHS picks it up.

Order another box of tags. Only one name to remember - just Cattleya

If I read that article right, it looks like just Laelia and Sophronitis are being moved to Cattleya. What about Brassavola and/or Rhyncholaelia? Will be still have Bc?
