I purchased this plant as Pleurothallis crocodiliceps from Equaflor-a a couple years ago. Since there aren't many photos of P. vorator, I put them into my blog post (link) with some close-up photos. Here is a link to a thread of this species by Bill, which contains one of few photos on internet.

The name means someone who eats voraciously. And they imagined the head of a predator from the shape of the column and lip. You can see fangs.

Nice, thanks for sharing. I see how it could be mistaken, except the colors are incorrect. I need you to come by my place to photograph some of my smaller pleuros. :)
