Phrag Schlimii 'Wilcox' AM/AOS (cardinale)

Hi, this was/is the first phrag that I purchased from Piping Rock and the one that got me hooked to phrags. Also this is the one that I had a problem with this spring. It is happy and well adjusted to it's new medium now!

Hi Candace,

I was a bad girl and did not repot for a long time. As time went by, I was afraid to repot...LOL! Then I had to repot because it was just too big. I was rewarded by new growth die back until the plant adjusted to the new media and a little Phyton 27.

It's not really the species, schlimii. It's a hybrid -- Cardinale, as Claudia indicated.

It 'seems' to be Cardinale. No one really knows for sure, except it's not schlimii.
