I don't know what the judges would say but I like the twisted petals though I did immediately think 'water buffalo'

As a comment on judging, provided the twist is even in both petals, it shouldn't make any difference. Its the nature of the beast and common in both parents.
I too was wondering about the color, its very good if it is true and not caused by the photography.

Wonderful picture. I have several plants of Phrag Calurum but none of them bloomed till now. What am I doing wrong?
