I enjoy this species. Mine is in bud now and is taking its sweet time to mature.
Yes it took almost 2 months for this bud and almost 3 months now for the other bud next to it. Sighhh... patience is a virtue for this species.

Your patience has payed off! That is a beauty. I love the green dorsal and especially the staminode with its dark green shadow and the form like the claws of a crustacean...

Was the flower nice? Did you get a replacement from seller?
It's was OK lol not what I was expecting lol.
No unfortunately the sulppiler decided to close up becuase of Brexit even though it was four before that happened. They reopended a couple of years go and I could be bothered then

Did you have pic of this bloom? I'm curious.

Today a little more open. Interesting the range of colors this species can have (compare to my dark pouch Chocolate cultivar).

Leslie, P. mastersianum is one of my favourit Paphs and yours shows very well why. Great flower. I like it very much. 👍

I've got a new growth on the one I flowered last year, although still small, so likely no bloom this year. 3 other seedlings are doing well too.
They are notoriously slow growers. I discovered that they like brighter light than most mottled leaves, very close to cattleya. Is yours also?
