No not a first year .the plant has two flowers on two nice growths and was a division from a friend about a year ago.

Eric, thats a lovely bloom and I was glad to own this plant and it's a true var. sanderae.
Nowadays there are lots of greenish/yellowish insigne hybrids out there and sometimes it isn't easy to tell a hybrid from the variety of the species.
