Or at least that's what it was sold as! The few pictures I've seen seem to have a lot less spotting and colour in the dorsal.

I prefer what I have!

Opened yesterday.


Had it a year and it's gone from a two fan plant to 4 and a start.

I agree but the other different looking flowers I've seen don't seem particularly apt either!

Amber Gold is half Winston Churchill. That's the reason for the red colour and the spotted dorsal.

This flowered again in between these posts and this one but I didn't take any pictures.

It's flowering again now with two flowers.
The first opened last week, the second this week. And finishing off with an in-toto pic for those who like that!




Switched over to semi-hydro last year and it seems to be enjoying it (or helping me do a half-decent job of giving it enough water anyway!)
