Paph. superbiens first-bloom seedling

This is a first-bloom seedling of Paphiopedilum superbiens. I got it from Orchid Babies a couple of years ago. The species is native to the islands of the straits of Malacca and Sumatra where it grows on rock ledges in coniferous forests. The flower size on this one is four inches. The leaves have a very pleasing brightly checkered varigation.
