Paph stonei

Second bloom of this Paph. stonei (Pete's x Jame's best) I got years ago. It bloomed a couple of years ago and got really crippled with thrip damage. The top bud of this bloom has either thrip damage or chemical burn from the Conserve I sprayed. The mother plant carries 5 flowers maybe in a couple of years.

Nice flowers.
I don't remember ever having an issue with thrips. Do you have non orchid plants in your growing area as well?

Good that you saved the plant so far! Very nice flowers - we'll be looking forward to see the flowering next time round, when the plant has fully recuperated!
