I bought this plant two years ago from Sun Moon Orchids - Taiwan. A new generation clone with rounder shape, compared to the standard ones. Growns in my windowsill. Blooming second time. Hosting through Tapatalk.

Awfully flat for a spicer

I guess the Taiwanese breeding is all about the flat dorsal. It's nice if you like it but seems to take away some of the charm of a normal (reflexed) spicer.

That's what I think exactly. Isn't that flower looks like a Paph. Bruno Model [(spicerianum x insigne) x spicerianum]?

While many of us think that spicerianums that look like this are hybrids, is there really any way to tell?
