Paph Sarella 'Marsala'

Paph Sarella = Hellas X Lady Sara. Older cross with decent form, but not awardable by today's standards. I like it for the dark brown coloration. The interesting thing about this cultivar, 'Marsala', is that the tag listed it as having received an HCC/AOS, but there is no record of a Sarella 'Marsala' being awarded in my AQ Plus program.

Perhaps not awardable, but very pleasing to the eye, nonetheless. I really like this flower!

I think it's nice to look at - pretty symmetric and no wonkiness of any sort. Lovely!

Very pretty. I like it better than some of the modern day bulldogs, which look monstrous to me. Maybe it was awarded and the grower didn't pay the registration fee. I have seen that happen a few times.
