Rick,

This plant was not from the Bob Weltz collection. It was a donation from Fritz Schomburg who propagated them in an effort to ensure a strong future for sanderianums in cultivation. He donated 3 plants to us and has done the same with many other botanical institutions within the United States.

One day we a got an unannounced package from him and in it were 3 Paph. sanderianums. Truly a generous gift.

Great blooms and great photo! I could never get enough of Paph. sanderianum. Anyone know, is there a super good article, magazine, or book on this species. I've been learning it inside and out and am craving more information.
