= Harrisianum (= barbatum X villosum) X hookerae; VUYLSTEKE 1895. I got this plant from M. Paul at my last visit in his nursery (my thread => http://www.slippertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9763 , where I had a pict. of another flowering Loochristiense in the nursery). Unfortunately one side of the staminode is being jammed by the pouch, and is therefore not in the straight position.:eek:. I hope that the next blooming will be ok! Jean

Thank you for sharing this older cross. Many such crosses are long forgotten but contribute valuable genetic material to modern grexes. This is an interesting combination of species.

I am pretty sure this hybrid has been created in Belgium. Lochristy is a village near Gent in Belgium and as you know VUYLSTEKE is also a Belgian people.
