at last after such a long wait ( 7 months+ since I first spotted the sheath), it's finally blooming on a 57 cm high spike !

not absolutely sure whether it's fully opened or not...

That's gorgeous!

I had a hookerae var. volonteanum that was the same way... I noticed the sheath in October, and it grew all winter until it was over 3 feet tall, and then last month, the bud blasted! I was pretty disappointed.

Well, I'm mostly into Phrags, but I like parvi Paphs too; I certainly don't favor species...but that's nice.
