When I first saw the pic, I was doubtful if it was a HCM. Two things threw me off.
First the shape is incredible for a HCM. This is of course plausible for a very well shaped cultivar.
Second the increased freckling around the staminode (on petals and dorsal sepal base) reminded me of Paph. Nathaniel’s Dream, a cross of HCM to bellatulum.
But… the staminode here is more like the HCM (rounder) than in Nathaniel’s Dream (teardrop). So it is most likely truer to HCM than other hybrids of HCM.
Congrats on acquiring one of the best shaped HCM I have ever seen live, in literature and awards.
