No,this is it's 3rd day,the pouch is little pinched and there is another bloom coming on.I'm hoping it will little better looking.

This is the thing i see alot about this hybrid. It mostly has a deformed pouch

I would be more bothered by overall wrinkles appearance than pinched pouch.
Hopefully it'll bloom better in the future because the color is great.

Spike was just forming when I got it,like most of my other spiking/budding plants this one also took the brunt of constant battle for erwinia. About 1/3 of the buds dropped off on others. Next year maybe better.

Today's composted plants were my Paph.sangii, barbigerum and curtisii.

Ouch! With the Gloria Naugle it might be just culture shock. One of my plants had a sudden flare up. I pulled the leaves, from the bad growth, sprinkled on Dragon's Blood solution, Coated the rest of the growths in Captan anti-fungal and isolated the plant from the rest and will restrict watering. Emergancy treatment!!
