John Boy, reread this thread about Paph. Dollgoldi. http://http://www.slippertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20779&highlight=dollgoldi Paph. rothschildianum does indeed impart netting to it's offspring. You'll notice that I say one thing and then later on, I change my mind. Kind of humbling; but, I was glad to learn something new. If this (GN), plant featured in this thread, was actually someting else that had malipoense in it, I'd expect to see a rounder pouch shape and a more pointy dorsal shape. But, more than anything else, the staminode shape and colour would be vastly different. It would have a more diamond shape and dark colour on it's lower half.

Oh wau!!! Now I want it!!!

As I said,...I might really be wrong here, but now I ( me, myself, and I) believe even more...what I said before.
Paph. rothchildianum does not do that sort of netting, and for a micrathum that (I'd say) would be way too dark.

Just on a side-line: do G.L.'s ever do pale pouches like that?

But again, I don't want to push it, and: whatever the name: I'd buy the plant, given the chance.
