It is properly named Cyrtochilum macramthum.

The description at orchidspecies.com says it is cold growing and from montane cloud forests up to 3000 m elevation.

“Cloud forest” means saturated environment. Probably not a good candidate for in-home growing.

Seems like the growing conditions for some of the Sophronitis, I've succeeded killing off on my window sill... Prospectively, I would only go close to this kind of species, if I had a GH with a cooler section, good ventilation and a darn high humidity!
