This is its third trial, but second bloom for me since the second bud was damaged by mealy bugs last November.
Intense bug hunting damaged the plant and the bud aborted.
It quickly developed a new small (only two very small leaves) growth since and now in bloom.

The flower is also smaller than its very first bloom years ago.

The dorsal is a bit small; but, it's still a really great flower! The petals and lip are really chunky with excellent shape.

It really is a very nice flower with wide petals, overall very flat and balanced shape as you say.
The dorsal on the fist blooming was much larger.

I hope it will be back to its "normal"-self on the future blooming.
