I've been growing for a little while and wish to learn more from the people of this forum ,judging by the photos I have seen there are some great growers on here !! I'm hoping to find out when is the best time to stake a Paphiopedilum Rothschildianum, it's just started to flower which is great, but the spike isn't growing as vertically as I'd hoped,could anyone advise me?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the spike bending because it is turning to the light? Are you changing the position of the plant as the spike extends?

I turn all my plants growing in windowsill culture about 90 deg every day.

It keeps everything growing / pointing in the right direction.
