Nice flower. A problem in cattleya breeding is that the color forms are complicated and often not predictable, even sometimes from selfings, let alone out- or sib- crosses. I have had numerous examples bloom for me of coeruleas which were not, concolors which were not, etc., though I have no reason to doubt the parentage was listed correctly. To be absolutely certain of getting a specific form, mericlones or divisions are the best bet.
