Chamorchis alpina in Bavaria

Last weeks I had also the possibility to visit the habitat of one of the smallest orchids in Germany, Chamorchis alpina.
I found the plants in the mountains in the south of Bavaria near Berchtesgaden near the border to Austria an an elevation of 2000 m.

In the same area thousand of plants of Nigritella rhellicanii were found:

And also many plants of Edelweiss Leontopodium alpinum
