In the last days I had the possibility to visit a wonderful habitat of Orchis pallens in the south of Bavaria 70 km south of Munic.

Beside I found also a lot of Gentiana verna.

awesome photos. what happened to the leaves? they look like theyve all been cut.
 
Very nice! These, along with the Ophrys, are the jewels or the orchid world I wish I could grow in my garden. But they wouldn't last a winter here. :p
 
thats what i thought but they are not bitten
they look to be straight edge cuts
 
THere is also another pure yellow one which will come in flower later with mor e whitish yellow flowers
