NOW THAT IS A WHITE CATTLEYA!!!
Stunningly so! Ten flowers, wow?
The form on this is amazing. 3 sepals all held out straight and broad. 2 gorgeous petals and a wonderful lip!
I’ll bet that these are impressively fragrant!!!

It is very pretty. Compared to almost all of the classic whites (Bow Bells/Bob Betts, etc), this 1964 registered hybrid has 44% loddigesii because one of the parents is the famous Henrietta Japhet. We can see that in the lip structure and in the stance of the sepals. Yet, the 1/3 mossiae in the genes must be affecting size. Something polyploid must be in there to get such size and floriferousness. Did you acquire this as a division or a mericlone? Does it test virus free? Hausermann’s does not currently have this for sale so it may be difficult to find.

I squired the plant several years ago from the RAMOND BURR collection and have divided twice to give away divisions.
Yes to date it is virus free.
