Bulbo (fascinator x mandibulare)

First bloom of an interesting bulbo hybrid. Fascinator seems to be dominant, as I do not see any hint of mandibulare. What do you think?

It doesn't look like fascinator either. It looks like what folks either call apendiulata or putidum.

I agree, Rick. But the plant does not look like putidum/appendiculatum. The bulbs have slight ridges, and the leaves are long and soft like mandibulare, with very short rhizomes between each bulb.

Very weird Paphioboy. Is the flower bigger than a normal putidum?

It certainly looks larger than a normal putidum, but I don't know. I'm in Adelaide now..

But isn't fascinator quite a dominant parent in breeding too..? Just think of Fascination (x longissimum) and a few others that I can't recall now..

I think my plant may have been mislabelled, but I still do not know what it is. I'm convinced it is not appendiculatum or putidum. The supposed hybrid should look like this:

Sorry, guys. I think I discovered what the mistake was.. I think the parent used was annandalei instead of mandibulare.. I bought it from this guy here and his plant looks just like mine:

I think Vincent mis-wrote the parents of the crosses I bought. I bought another one labelled as (echinolabium x annandalei) but that doesn't exist on the Net.. So I think my 2 hybrids should be (fascinator x annandalei) and (echinolabium x mandibulare). The echino hybrid is very slow growing though...
