Grand Chupacabra
Cymbidium serratum x Eastern Venus is a small growing hybrid. I got this one from Tim Culbertson several years ago.
I like it but I consider it to be an acquired taste, definitely not a hybrid that I would expect to have mass appeal. The flowers are proportionally large, but only 1 - 3 flowers per spike. I actually should try covering the developing spikes with aluminum foil (like some do with goeringii) to encourage longer spikes, as this spike is only a couple of inches (4 - 6 cm) above the media.
The flowers are faintly fragrant, with a scent that's reminiscent of ensifolium or goeringii -- musky women's perfume.
Mostly I'm just adding a photo for reference because this is one you don't see much.
