I don't have many of those but this one decided to give me a good show this year.

No! I have significant problems getting the deep purple lighter with my camera.

I tried several more pics and this is the one that looks the closest in colour but should still be redder like beside the yellow center of the flower.

This must be a result of the cool white fluorescents I use to take pics.

Or I could photograph some of these purple flowers in bright light in the g/h. My studio lighting system is very basic. It works well with most colours but deep purple is trying.
