In my same pot, I found that one(1) plant of paph. concolor appear with two(2) flower bud from its crown while two(2) other plants appear with only one(1) bud.

May i have a polite question of what happen to the one which extrudes 2 buds? Any change in enviroment or condition in its growing?

P. concolor routinely produces 2 buds to a spike (rarely 3). As to why some produce just 1 while others produce 2, it may be cultural or genetic. Some clones just produce 1 bud. P. delanatii is a similar case....it commonly produces 2, yet I have a clone that grows well, blooms several times a year, but will never produce more than 1 bud.

Thank you very much for the information! Watching my thaianum, it does the same.
