The Coryanthes on Wendy's link is also solid pale yellow.

I poked around on the 'online Orchid Encyclopedia' and saw there were several pale solid colored species, and a handful of xanthic varieties of a handful of normally spotted species. So I suspect structure and country of origin may end up the diagnostic.

Or worse yet the molecular composition of the fragrance:sob:
