please give me some names of cypripediums that can tolerate warmer temps like 6 C in winter and up to 28 C in summer
...

Best warm growing species in my experience is C. formosanum - easy. Others that are warm tolerant are much more difficult - kentuckiense, acaule, and henryi for example.
So Tom would you say that formosanum will get by with 5 or 6C min over winter and still grow and flower well?
Definitely. It never averages below 5 C here and that only lasts around 2 and half months. This species requires the least amount of cold vernalization of any of the temperate Cypripedium species. C. kentuckiense or southern populations of C. acaule come close to that, but are much harder to grow long term.
