That is my question as well...which is the true color...that should be the worthwhile picture.

Actually, the indoor shot is the most like the true color. The flash sort of brings out the white and lightens the purple.

then try the indoor shot with a brighter or neutral background and/or put a some light on the floor to separate the flower from the background.

also, you have a better angle on the outdoor shot and the flowers have more detail.
