Springtime in the mountains in Bavaria

Now the snow is gone in the lower elevations of the mountains in Bavaria. So the season for mountainwalking starts with a lot of springflowers.
Today I walked to a small chappel (Schnappenkirche 1100 m) and could see a lot of beautiful flowers.

Very nice pictures! A lot of those flowers remind me of the spring ephemerals that bloom here in Minnesota in the woods. Spring is always my favorite time of the year. Everything still looks pretty dead here in Minnesota, but yesterday I saw the first Dandelion in bloom on the south side of the greenhouse, so there is hope, and with tomorrow's temps of 70 F (21 C) things should be greening up fast here.
