there are still members of this forum who are without power and likely others who have had damage from the storm, and could use help. there are two organizations that are providing assistance that we could all make at least a small donation to, so at least indirectly help some of the people here, or friends/family of them. if you are able, making a donation would be great! of course there are likely many organizations assisting, but these are two I know about who will be helping directly and right away

any of us who can easily buy more orchids right now, should consider passing some of that disposable income along to help those who have lost everything, or are without the basics that we all expect every day when we wake up each morning... we can always buy more orchids, later...
