Roth fragrance

Orchid zone booth had 18 very healthy blooming roths and it smelled bad fragrance rot, I've never smelled any paph flowers giving off that odor, there were no bulbophyllums around, I checked thoroughly, can anybody else verify this?

the only fragrance I have smelled on a roth is basically black pepper

Yes the flowers have fragrance that can be somewhat strong...like pepper.

Huh.... up close there was a strong pepper smell but it was mixed with like bulbophyllum uucckk stink

I'm with Troy on this one! The roth I got from OZ definitely has a fragrance/odor. Reminds me of raw meat and gym socks.

So glad that someone else does not smell "pepper" either. A fellow STer tells me I am nuts, but it really smells....bad. Stunk up my truck on the drive home and stinking up the greenhouse now.

It wasn't a sour media smell, more like fragrance
