You shouldn't cross Paphs if you are bored like I did fife years ago.
It is better to be patient until you have caught the right plants. I've known it then but I know it even better now.

Fortunately I didn't get a lot of seedling back from the flasker in 2012. I had about twenty plantlets but most of them didn't grow very well. Three made nice clumps and flowered this year. They are compact plants in 2.7 or 3.5 inch pots.

First outcome is the most ugly one. I will keep it as a deterrent example (in the case I'm bored again one time)

The second one made three buds for its first flowering but only one made it. Not a mentionable flower in any way.

The third one had two flowers. The NS of the bigger one is 10 cm, LS is 25 cm.

The first one will probably have a normal flower next time, though I actually find it interesting as it is. The third is quite nice. If 1 out of 3 is that good, and it is a compact plant that grows and blooms easily, the cross was not a bad decision.
