what a beautiful sight.
How did you encourage the roots to grow downward?
I have about 12 different renanthera.
the vietnamica roots either grow upward or sideway, it becomes very hard to give it water like the other ones.

Hien,

I hang it ten feet high in the greenhouse in full sun. Spray it each day. Spray with fertilizer once or twice weekly.

Very interesting, Peter.
The color is amazing!

re: hummingbirds, I saw several at the garden where I work last week and they were going nuts over the (white) Polygonatum, which sorta surprised me. (Oh, BTW, Brian - good you waited a week - it's now much more in full bloom, as are the Arisaema. PS - anyone else who wants to come visit is always welcome, just PM me!)

WOW!!!! What a beauty, I love all the roots popping up everywhere. I'm always facinated by the roots of the vanda alliance plants
