Sigh... I know hundreds or thousands of scientific names, a lot of them are now obsolete, or rendered into synonymic. A beautiful flower, sadly, too cool growing for my garden.

Subspecies....strory begun at cattleya citrina....encyclia citrina.. euchile citrina...prosthecea citrina ...prosthecea citrina ssp. citrina and ssp. karwinski....mine is the last.

According to KEW Science they are two species of their own .... Prosthechea citrina and Prosthechea karwinskii .
