Now I really would not say that.
I think that you cant get an orchid, especially a "standard cattleya" to bloom exactly the same year after year. If that were true, where is the fun in growing them? It is the size difference and number of flowers produced that remind us that this is not "a cookie cutter" world! But I look at mericlones as 'having the genetic potential to achieve a, b or c. And that is important. But to have them turn out exactly the same year after year, that is a World that does not appeal to me.
