    is there a way to post a photo directly as an attachment
    such as in the past without have to put your photos on a photo hosting site?

    Yes. Notice at the bottom of your "write your reply" box there are buttons for "post reply", "upload a file" and "more options"? Choose "upload a file". It will ask where the file is located and weather to upload a thumbnail or full size. Just follow the instructions.

    do you know what the current size limit is? by the way, in which section could I find posting information/explanation/instruction ?
