Phrags From Show This weekend

We have quite a community of Phrag growers here in Edmonton and I thought the Phrags were the best part of the show. I went NUTS over that caudatum!

Wow! I'm a big fan of the besseae with reflexed petals. It is almost like it is giving a middle finger to judging standards.

I like the twirly pink one *sigh* For someone who routinely kicks out pink flowers, I really do seem to like pink slippers.......

After seeing the caudatum, I went staight down to the orchid house and spoke very nicely to my plant asking it to flower for me this year. I said I would give it an extra feed too just to be sure.

I can tell you that it is a 'Wings of Fire' x self. That's all I know.
