What a nice plant!
I love this species. I want to cross it with anguloi (I think that both two are the most compact phrags and would made a very intetesting compact hybrid) but my klotz are growing too slowly...

Hi Rick,

Still have few NBS seedlings large enough to bloom in 12-18 months. This is definitely one species that seems to thrive on low K + low TDS water.

I have one the seedlings. I hope it turns out this well. Do these usually only produce 1 - 2 flowers per spike or can/do they produce more as they become larger and/or more mature?

A mature plant can produce 2-3 flowers per stem, but this one carried a seed pod last year, so this year = 1 flower.
