Dot; just curious....is the texture true to life, or did you use a photo editing program to "sharpen" it?
I have one of these plants & the bloom is definitely fuzzy like Dot's .....
wish my photos were like hers!:eek:
 
Thanks Dot. I too have to sharpen a bit after sizing down; but, I find that if I overdo it, they can look overly textured,....kinda like micropixilated, which is not normally the way they look in real life, of course. Good luck with the flattening out. This one would be great if it were to become flat!

John, what I find especially interesting is that when I look at the photo with my desktop computer with a CRT monitor, the texture is subtle. But on my laptop, it does look a bit oversharpened. I do my photo editing with the CRT.

I've got a flat screen monitor and I remember when it was brand new, it took some getting used to how sharpened and "in focus" everything looked. Now, I love it and when I visit my Mom and see the same photos on her CRT, I feel like I can't get them in focus. Of course, it could just be age!
